Social Anxiety Self-Help
But where to look?
Social anxiety self help is not
just down to overcoming shyness, it’s a lot deeper than that. Every one of us gets nervous at some point in
our lives. When you go for an interview or you have to stand up and make
speech, your nerves kick in.With social anxiety these feelings are
multiply a hundred times.
Social anxiety can also stem from the social background one is born into which leads to
feeling of being inferior.Poor teaching has a big part to play in
it.That shy girl or boy who sets in the back of the class, not seen, very
rarely brought into the class activities and who grows up being unable to really communicate with
others. You will find most private schools who don’t always give any better education but what they do
give to their pupils is a self confidence stays with them through out their lives.
Add this all together and you have a subconscious that can only look on the negative side of
things.
When a person knows they have a problem and tries to do something about it their subconscious
starts to fill their conscious mind with all the reasons why they should stay as they are.The subconscious does this because it has been programmed with negative thoughts from day
one.Until you can overlay these thoughts with more positive ones then
anxiety is going to hit you every time something happens in your life to give you
concern.
Research is showing that most social anxiety is from our daily lives.Life can be look at in two ways. You can see problems in
every thing that happens to you OR you can look the situations you find yourself and learn from the experience
and by doing so you create a strong self confidence you. Your mental strength has no limits if you look at your
problems with the view they can always be solved.
The good news is there are lots of ways you can handle social anxiety. There are lots of social anxiety self help groups that can help you find ways of healing
yourself.
